It began with a white paper delivered to President Clinton’s re-election committee in 1996 and the call for a new interpretation of capitalism based on enlightened self-interest in which ICT acts as the catalyst for pro-poor business development by delivering information to the economically disenfranchised. This led to the initiation of the Tomsk Regional Initiative and microfinance bank in Russia from 2000-2005.
Since 2004 we’ve operated as a profit for social purpose business from the UK as a software developer rendering our profit and social capital to leveraging a ‘Marshall Plan’ strategy in Ukraine in which profit yielding ICT deployment yields funding for national scale childcare reform.
