Communications and Information Policy in Latin America - Raising awareness and building capacities

The CIPP – LA is committed to develop skills and increase the confidence of diverse civil society organisations and groups working on different areas of development so they can make an impact on ICT policy-making in their countries and in regional or global fora.

In 2008, we are working with several APC member organisations to facilitate involvement of grassroots and communities in ICT policy processes by popularising ICT policy training and research materials. We are also illustrating the APC’s Internet Rights Charter by developing radio spots in partnership with community radio activists.
