Cho
Cho spends her free time working with youth in Myanmar to develop informal online educational resources and opportunities. She has been involved in community work since 2018, focusing on public speaking, networking, digital security training, and administration. She mainly focused on empowering Myanmar people to use digital technologies in a safe and inclusive way while working at a tech-focused NGO in Myanmar for the past three years. She was in charge of the digital literacy programme through innovative online and offline campaigns as she is interested in how technology can be used to promote positive change. From 2018-2020, she has arranged and given several training sessions and workshops to youth, human rights defenders, members of the parliament and civil society across Myanmar on digital security and digital literacy in multiple cities across Myanmar. Moreover, Cho’s writing has been captured in Women Voices Across Boundaries, a book published by ALTSEAN. Cho's contribution deals with “Physical Harassment on the Bus”, which happens daily on public bus rides in Myanmar. The book was published in three languages, Thai, Myanmar and English, and can be read and downloaded from https://www.altsean.org/womens-voices.html.
